Special Graduate Programs
M.D.-Ph.D. Program
The School of Science participates in the joint M.D.-Ph.D. program with the Indiana University School of Medicine. In this program, students concurrently earn an M.D. and a Ph.D., taking courses in both science and medicine with several courses simultaneously satisfying both degree requirements.
Pre-Professional Master's Degree
Students who need additional coursework for application to medical, dental or other professional schools may choose the pre-professional non-thesis master's degree offered by the Department of Biology. Students complete 30 hours of graduate level work in two semesters.
