Dean of Science Scholarships

The School of Science Dean's Scholars program is designed for continuing School of Science students. These competitive scholarships provide students with $2,500 per year and are renewable contingent upon funding.

An applicant should have a minimum of 25 credit hours completed at IUPUI and a minimum 3.5 GPA by the end of the spring semester during which the application is being made.

Application, essay, transcript and two letters of recommendation (one of which must be from a full-time faculty member in the School of Science) must be received in the School of Science Dean's Office by May 15. Applications are available in the IUPUI Office of Student Scholarships.

Renewable Scholarships

D.J. Angus-Scientech Education Foundation Scholarship - for a science or math student who graduated from a central Indiana high school and who is in good academic standing while pursuing his/her first bachelor's degree.

Indianapolis Project SEED Scholarship for Beginning and Continuing Science Majors - a four-year renewable scholarship for School of Science students who have participated in the Project SEED summer research program.

Wilmer K. Fife Scholarship - for a School of Science student who is a single parent, who demonstrates financial need and who has an interest in the study of chemistry.

One-Time Scholarships

John D. Barnwell Scholarship - or a School of Science student who integrates the sciences and the arts into his/her undergraduate career.

Frank G. and Ernestine M. Lambertus Scholarship - for a student who shows significant academic improvement since the previous year.

Robert W. Tuveson Scholarship - for a student majoring in the biological sciences.

David E. White Alumni Scholarship - for a beginning School of Science student who is seeking his/her first bachelor's degree.
