Get involved! The School of Science offers several clubs to help you find your niche within the school. When you join one of our major-based clubs, you’ll

  • Engage in social functions
  • Provide service to the campus and the community
  • Learn current trends in science and mathematics
  • Interact with faculty and other students

Biology Club

By joining the Biology Club, you’ll meet lots of new people, including faculty who host monthly “Pizza with a Professor” programs. You’ll participate in service activities, and you’ll gain valuable insights into class and laboratory preparation. Membership is open to any student who has an interest in biology. Pre-Med Club

The Pre-Med Club helps students prepare for entrance to medical school by providing opportunities for shadowing, volunteering, research and academic improvement. All students, regardless of major, are invited to join. Email us at premed@iupui.edu.

Chemistry Club

Chemistry Club members participate in an array of academic and social activities.

Computer Science Club

The CS Club hosts an array of activities and programs throughout the year, including a high school programming contest and a favorite professor award. Members provide tutoring and offer student helps sessions for computer science classes. Join the club’s listerv with “subscribe csclub” in the body of the message. Forensic Science Club

The Forensic Science Club helps members to learn more about forensic sciences, to develop a network of people who are interested in the field and to enhance experiences related to the field. To learn more about the club, send us an email at fsclub@iupui.edu.

Geology Club

Geology Club fosters student-to-student and student-to-faculty relationships and promotes the earth sciences on the IUPUI campus. Club members regularly organize field trips that enhance classroom and laboratory concepts.

Math Club

Math is fun and relaxing—says members of the Math Club. The club provides a forum for students to network with each other and to collaborate on assignments for math classes. Physics Club

The Physics Club membership includes students who are interested in learning more about modern-day physics and its applications in the real world. The club sponsors pizza parties where students can mingle with IUPUI physics researchers, as well as field trips to government research facilities (Fermilab, IU Cyclotron). Sometimes, members just hang out and discuss their thoughts about black holes, relativity, quantum computers or Schroedinger's cat.

Psi Chi

si Chi is a national honor society whose purpose is to encourage, stimulate and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in psychology and to advance the science of psychology. To be eligible for membership, a student must have taken a minimum of nine (9) hours of psychology courses, have a minimum 3.5 GPA in psychology courses and have a minimum 3.3 overall GPA. Members must pay a one-time fee of $55.00 for a lifetime membership. Contact us at psyclubs@iupui.edu.

Psychology Club

When you join the Psychology Club, you’ll interact with professors and other students, and you’ll develop a network of connections for volunteer, research and employment opportunities.
