You think that the end may be near. You're ready to graduate. These pages will help you prepare for graduation.

Graduation Audits

School of Science will prepare a graduate audit for students who have applied for graduation and have enrolled in the candidacy course. (See Graduation Deadlines link for details.) Faculty and staff in the Dean's Office and in your department review the audit. After review, they will determine if you are recommended for graduation. If academic deficiencies appear on the audit, you will be notified via e-mail and U.S. postal mail.

Commencement

You may participate in the May commencement ceremonies if you are a December, May or August candidate in a given academic year. Near the end of February, the Office of Alumni Relations will notify you about the IUPUI graduation ceremony and about ordering a cap and gown. In March, you will receive information about the School of Science ceremony.

Students may choose to participate in both, either or none of the graduation ceremonies. Students who do not participate in the ceremonies are still eligible to graduate, pending final review of their academic records. Diplomas are not given out at the graduation ceremonies.
